About the role

The client, based in Middelburg, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the branch’s sales activities and overall operations. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing staff, and ensuring efficient branch performance while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve and expand personal sales targets and grow the customer base.
  • Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to meet and exceed their targets.
  • Oversee all branch staff and drivers, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Control branch stock levels and manage inventory holdings.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and branch efficiency.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial truck and bus parts sales.
  • Proven management experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Computer literate with a valid driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to work standby and weekends when required.
