About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sales of Sunmi’s IoT products and solutions across South Africa. The role involves managing existing overseas channels, building long‑term client relationships, and expanding our market presence. You will collaborate with product, marketing and engineering teams to tailor solutions to local market needs and provide market feedback for continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end promotion and sales of Sunmi’s IoT products and solutions in South Africa.
- Maintain and grow existing overseas sales channels while cultivating long‑term client relationships.
- Identify and develop new international sales channels and project‑based opportunities.
- Establish partnerships with Android‑based retail and payment software providers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to adapt offerings to local market requirements.
- Provide market insights and feedback to product development teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum 3 years of overseas sales experience, preferably in electronic payment, IoT or smart hardware.
- Proven track record in key account management.
- Prior experience selling POS, PDA or printer products in international markets is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and resilience under pressure.
