Sales Executive – Pet Insurance

About the role

The Sales Executive – Pet Insurance will generate new business and expand the existing customer base by providing expert advice and selling pet insurance products. Working in a high‑performance call‑centre environment, you will use a consultative approach to identify client needs, recommend suitable solutions, and convert opportunities into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and conversion ratios in line with company standards.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new sales opportunities through consultative selling.
• Cross‑sell and up‑sell to existing clients, educating them on product value and benefits.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and ensure premiums are collected within acceptable parameters.
• Provide accurate product information, respond to client queries promptly, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Complete timely sales administration, keep client records up‑to‑date, and submit required reports.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with legislative requirements, company policies, and FAIS regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling pet insurance or similar insurance products.
• Strong knowledge of the pet insurance industry and relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a call‑centre setting.
