Sales Executive – New Business (Hybrid)

About the role

Klipboard is seeking a New Business Sales Executive to promote its suite of ERP and SaaS software solutions to wholesalers, manufacturers and distributors. The role is hybrid, combining three days in the Johannesburg office with two days of remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and drive marketing activities for the assigned territory, working with the sales‑focused Marketing Department.
• Conduct consultative sales engagements, leading business discovery and solution presentations.
• Deliver hands‑on product demonstrations of Klipboard’s layered applications.
• Qualify sales opportunities and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
• Manage and update the CRM system regularly.
• Participate in monthly sales meetings and present progress.

Required profile

• Proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude with a willingness to work hands‑on with software solutions.
• Experience in consultative selling within wholesale, manufacturing or distribution markets.
• Ability to generate and qualify leads, forecast sales and maintain CRM data.
• Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and collaboration across global teams.
