Sales Executive – B2B (Johannesburg)

About the role

This position offers an experienced sales professional the chance to drive new business for Getty Images and iStock across corporate, agency, media and production sectors in Johannesburg. You will build strategic partnerships, influence senior decision‑makers and position world‑class visual content solutions as essential business assets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across corporate, agency, broadcast and production markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders such as marketing leaders, procurement teams, creative directors and C‑suite executives.
• Identify, develop and close high‑value deals across Getty Images, iStock and related portfolios.
• Create and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue growth and client penetration.
• Conduct consultative discovery meetings to uncover customer needs and content strategies.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities for stock, custom, editorial and AI‑driven content.
• Prepare compelling proposals, presentations and commercial agreements.
• Lead negotiations, pricing discussions and contract closures.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline in CRM and deliver accurate forecasts, targeting 25+ discovery meetings per month.
• Attend client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities across the region.
• Share best practices and mentor colleagues through leadership by example.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of successful B2B field sales or business development experience.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and close high‑value opportunities.
• Strong consultative selling and solution‑led approach.
• Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

Required skills

• CRM proficiency for pipeline management and forecasting.

What we offer

• Salary range R25 000 – R40 000 depending on experience.
