Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to support a UK‑based employer from South Africa. In this remote position you will generate new leads, book meetings with key decision‑makers and help expand the company’s customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound phone calls to potential clients using automated dialing systems.
• Leave voicemails and follow up on leads to generate interest in the company’s products or services.
• Use a provided script to ensure a consistent sales approach.
• Book meetings with key decision‑makers at prospective client companies.
• Track and manage leads in the sales database, recording call outcomes.
• Meet or exceed monthly targets for calls made and meetings booked.
• Collaborate with the hiring manager to refine sales strategy and improve results.

Required profile

• Relevant years of experience in sales or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Confidence using automated dialing systems and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and pay high attention to detail.
• Previous experience with UK clients is advantageous.
• Access to a reliable laptop, stable internet connection and a quiet working environment.
