Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to act as the first point of contact between our biotech and life‑science clients and their prospects. You will work remotely from South Africa, conducting high‑volume outbound outreach to generate qualified leads for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume cold calls and send targeted emails to prospects in the pharma and biotech sectors.
• Deliver scripted pitches and qualify leads against client‑defined criteria.
• Book and confirm appointments with qualified prospects.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the company’s CRM system.
• Report on daily performance metrics and outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in B2B cold calling or outbound outreach.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and personal computer with headset.
• Availability to work 9 AM – 6 PM EST.
• Preferably a degree or work experience in life sciences (biology, chemistry, pharmacology, etc.).

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM platform for tracking leads and activities.
