Sales Development Representative – Corporate FX (Remote, South Africa)

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to generate new business pipeline for our corporate foreign exchange and international payments solutions. Based remotely in South Africa, you will be the first point of contact for UK importers and exporters, identifying FX pain points and booking qualified meetings for senior sales staff.
Key responsibilities
- Execute high‑volume outbound prospecting via phone, email and LinkedIn targeting UK SMEs and mid‑market businesses.
- Identify and qualify decision‑makers such as finance directors, CFOs, MDs and treasury managers.
- Articulate the value of corporate FX products including spot, forward, market orders and international payment services.
- Book discovery meetings and product demos for senior sales colleagues.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity logs in the CRM.
- Research target industries and build high‑quality prospect lists.
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging, objection handling and targeting strategies.
- Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for calls, emails, meetings booked and pipeline generated.
Required profile
- 3‑4 years of experience in an SDR, BDR or outbound sales role selling corporate FX solutions to UK businesses.
- Demonstrated understanding of corporate FX products such as spot, forwards, NDFs, options and international payments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound activity and pipeline targets.
- Comfortable engaging C‑suite and senior finance stakeholders on the phone.
- Strong written communication skills for email and LinkedIn outreach.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined and able to work remotely during UK business hours (GMT/BST).
