Sales Development Representative (B2B Logistics)

About the role

D2B is looking for a confident, commercially sharp telesales executive to act as the first point of contact for future customers. This is a pure prospecting and lead-generation role: making calls, asking smart questions, qualifying properly and keeping opportunities moving until the Business Development Managers take them over. It is full-time and remote, aligned with UK working hours, with a salary of 20,000 to 25,000 ZAR per month.

Key responsibilities

• Make consistent outbound calls to new business prospects.
• Build, refresh and work targeted prospect lists across courier brands.
• Uncover pain points around delivery, fulfilment, logistics, storage and service reliability.
• Ask the right questions, qualify the opportunity and capture the commercial details that matter.
• Book appointments, generate quote requests and create sales-ready handovers for the BDM team.
• Keep CRM records accurate and up to date the same day, and follow up quickly and persistently.

What you will be selling

• Brand A: same-day dedicated delivery, contract logistics, two-man delivery, pallets and urgent transport.
• Brand B: ecommerce fulfilment, pick and pack, storage, UK next day, international and B2B fulfilment.

Required profile

• A confident phone manner and resilience when the first answer is no.
• Strong listening skills, natural curiosity and good judgement about real opportunities.
• Target-driven mindset focused on quality as well as volume.
• Clear written notes, tidy CRM discipline and strong follow-through.
• Professional style that represents the client properly.
• Experience in telesales, lead generation, courier, logistics, ecommerce or B2B sales is valuable.

Success looks like strong conversations with decision-makers weekly, accepted handovers, a pipeline that grows and prospects who feel listened to. There is uncapped commission after the trial period.
