Sales Consultant

About the role

SG Branding JHB is seeking a driven, customer‑focused Sales Consultant to join its local sales team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will grow and retain a portfolio of clients, prospect new business and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to order delivery and after‑sales service.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect for and qualify new clients in line with the segmentation strategy.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Service and retain existing clients through regular calls and proactive communication.
• Deliver after‑sales service including event photography, repairs, re‑skins and new product introductions.
• Prepare for client meetings, quote clients, manage the quote pipeline and follow the pre‑order process.
• Submit weekly call reports, monthly sales reports and ensure accurate sales figures.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
• 3–5 years proven experience in external sales, managing a client portfolio and meeting sales targets.
• Background in branded products, promotional items, signage or related industry is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
