Sales Assistant

About the role
The Sales Assistant position is a full‑time role based in Johannesburg, working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. The role offers a fixed salary of R8 500 per month (non‑negotiable) with a performance‑based commission incentive and a Provident Fund after successful completion of the three‑month probationary period.
Key responsibilities
- Procure price and availability information from suppliers.
- Check data accuracy on orders and invoices.
- Provide support to the sales team to ensure efficient sales operations.
- Process and capture sales orders, purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor and assist internal and customer WhatsApp groups.
- Maintain and update the sales system.
Required profile
- Matric (Senior Certificate) qualification.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Sales or procurement‑related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers both telephonically and electronically.
