Sales Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer‑service‑oriented Sales Assistant to join our retail team. In this role you will guide shoppers through the store, answer their questions, and ensure a smooth, enjoyable buying experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, promotions, and any concerns.
• Inform shoppers about current deals and product options.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of store merchandise and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and presentable.
• Encourage purchases and strive to meet weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and balance drawers.
• Follow all store policies and procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Professional appearance.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear verbal communication.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for two or more hours and lift 10+ pounds.
• Basic math proficiency.
