Salaried Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring a salaried financial advisor in Cape Town. An accredited financial advisor gives proactive, on-demand financial advice to customers within an allocated customer market, building strong client relationships and recommending sound advice that meets customers' financial goals, the customer value proposition and compliance frameworks. The role involves formal in-house training, the prescribed regulatory exams and accreditation with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• FAIS compliance
• A valid driver's licence and your own car
• A clear criminal and credit check
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience, preferably in sales
• Proven computer literacy (MS Office suite)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strategic selling and strengthening customer relationships
• Oral communications, probing questions and qualifying prospects
