Risk and Control Coordinator – Finance Team

About the role

The Risk and Control Coordinator will join the Finance team in Midrand, providing essential administrative and coordination support to the Group Risk function. Working under the guidance of the Risk Manager, the role ensures risk and control documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with business inputs.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and update risk register inputs from business units.
• Maintain risk information in registers and GRC systems as directed.
• Schedule and coordinate risk update sessions, follow up on outstanding items and track treatment actions.
• Support second‑line oversight by performing limited control monitoring procedures and documenting results.
• Prepare standard risk and control reports using approved templates and compile data for dashboards.
• Maintain version control of all risk and control documentation and liaise with control owners as needed.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent senior certificate.
• Degree in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit or governance administration, preferably in a regulated or pharmaceutical retail environment.
• Familiarity with risk registers, control monitoring or audit processes is an advantage.
