Revenue Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Revenue Administrator to join our finance team in Cape Town. The role involves accurate daily processing of financial data, bank statement uploads, and revenue journal preparation to support the company’s cash flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily financial data promptly and accurately.
• Upload and reconcile bank statements with internal records.
• Prepare daily revenue files, journals, and ensure all paperwork is complete.
• Verify product revenue, banking entries, and POS reports against source documents.
• Investigate and resolve variances with ticket offices, SBV, and SBU’s.
• Balance daily revenue journals using Excel spreadsheets.
• Create re‑allocation journals for any incorrect banking entries.
• Perform additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by senior staff.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• Retail or cashier experience preferred.
• Bookkeeping or accounting qualification and related experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
