This position leverages the incumbent’s extensive professional or academic experience to support the university’s mission of academic excellence, research, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide students and staff in the retiree’s area of expertise.
• Provide consultations and expert advice on relevant projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to academic activities such as guest lectures, workshops, or research collaborations.
• Participate in university committees, events, and community‑engagement programmes.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in a professional or academic discipline relevant to university initiatives.
• Experience mentoring or guiding individuals or groups in professional or academic settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary projects.
• Commitment to inclusivity, community development, and institutional goals.
• Previous involvement in higher education or related sectors is advantageous.
• Advanced degree or extensive professional experience in a relevant field is preferred.
