About the role
The Retail Stores Assistant will manage procurement, control and distribution of store stock, ensuring accurate receipt and handling of inventory.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the procurement, control and distribution of stores stock
- Ensuring accurate receiving and receipting of stores stock
- Active involvement in stock‑takes and cycle counts
- Dead stock and short‑dated stock management
- Capturing and handling of product complaints
- Resolving queries from relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring a culture of quality and operational excellence
Required profile
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge of SAP (advantage)
- Knowledge of inventory control processes and procedures
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills
- Customer excellence focus
