Retail Sales Assistant

About the role
Our client, a reputable retailer with up‑market stores in Benoni, Linden and Wendywood, is looking for a mature and professional Retail Sales Assistant. You will join a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales of adult‑focused product ranges.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through personalized customer consultations.
- Provide advice on adult products, ensuring a comfortable and discreet experience.
- Handle stock taking, inventory management and replenishment.
- Perform cash‑ups, daily reconciliations and store opening/closing procedures.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Extroverted, energetic and socially mature, comfortable discussing adult topics.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.

- Base salary of R5,000 plus commission.
