Retail Cluster Leader – Pretoria

About the role

Talent Match Consulting is seeking a hands‑on Retail Cluster Leader to manage a group of stores operating in a “store‑within‑a‑store” format in Pretoria, Gauteng. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, overseeing operations and supporting store teams to achieve performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the cluster to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Roll out promotions and campaigns accurately and energetically.
• Coach and support store managers and staff to improve performance.
• Oversee stocktakes, ensure clean and accurate results, and manage stock movement between stores.
• Maintain high merchandise standards and full shelves.
• Monitor daily KPIs and intervene quickly when performance deviates.
• Drive customer service excellence across all locations.
• Ensure payroll, schedules and operational processes are followed.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Provide clear reports and updates to senior management.
• Foster a positive team culture that recognises great performance.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric (Senior Certificate).
• At least 5 years of retail or sales management experience.
• Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and coach teams.
• Comfortable with business details, sales margins and stock metrics.
• Organised, detail‑focused and able to juggle multiple stores.
• High energy, solution‑driven mindset and positive communication style.

Required skills

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s licence.
