Retail Branch/Store Manager – Kleinmond, Gansbaai, Betty's Bay

About the role

The Retail Branch/Store Manager will lead the daily operations of a store serving the Kleinmond, Gansbaai and Betty's Bay area. You will be accountable for sales performance, staff management, inventory control and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and direct day‑to‑day activities of the branch.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and store presentation.
• Recruit, schedule and supervise a team of four staff members.
• Achieve sales targets while controlling costs and maintaining profitability.
• Implement merchandising standards and manage product displays.
• Oversee inventory management, stock counts, ordering and supplier relations.
• Ensure accurate pricing, receipt capture and meet product range GP% targets.
• Maintain branch administration, SOP compliance and safeguard company assets.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• 5‑7 years of retail management experience.
• Ability to lead a small team and handle HR duties.
• Strong organisational and scheduling skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with retail ERP systems.

What we offer

• Basic salary ranging from R20,000 to R25,000 per month.
