Retail Branch Manager – Butterworth

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking an experienced Retail Branch Manager to lead its Butterworth branch. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high‑performance service culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute branch strategy and business plans.
• Deliver retail branch sales targets and activations.
• Improve sales and operational effectiveness.
• Establish and nurture a strong service culture.
• Manage compliance, quality and risk frameworks.
• Lead and develop branch staff.
• Oversee monthly planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with FAIS RE5 and RE1 qualifications.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Class of Business compliance per product category and CPD compliance.
• Fit and Proper requirements met.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven sales track record in the financial services sector.
• Experience in service delivery and service management within insurance or lending.
• Strong people‑management experience.
