Restaurant Skills Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Skills Trainer to join our team in Durban. In this role you will develop confident, capable restaurant teams through hands‑on coaching, practical training, and consistent implementation of brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging in‑store training and coaching sessions.
• Ensure all training aligns with company SOPs and brand standards.
• Support restaurant managers in improving team performance.
• Assess employee skills and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and reports.
• Identify training needs and implement development plans.
• Champion continuous learning and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) qualification.
• Train‑the‑Trainer qualification (preferred).
• 1–2 years of restaurant operations experience; 3 years hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, customer service, and restaurant operations.
• Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and one additional official language relevant to the region.
