Replenishment Buyer

About the role

Econofoods, a fast‑growing FMCG retailer specializing in frozen foods, is looking for a Replenishment Buyer to manage stock ordering, planning and inventory control for assigned product ranges. The role ensures service levels for internal and external customers while preventing stock‑outs and overstocks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock replenishment and inventory control for a defined range of products.
• Review, analyse and forecast stock requirements.
• Control stock movements to avoid overstocks, waste and improve service levels.
• Handle inbound order issues, returns, supplier recalls and load prioritisation with distribution centre operations.
• Monitor performance of new lines and promotions.
• Review sales information to support continuous improvement of stock levels and buying opportunities.
• Learn and support supply‑chain systems and processes.
• Provide ordering support during seasonal and holiday periods under guidance of the Merchandise Manager.
• Develop strong working relationships with suppliers, customers and team members.
