Remote Wills & Estates Lawyer (Australian Law)

About the role

Teams Squared is seeking an experienced Wills & Estates Lawyer to join its fully remote team. The role focuses on Australian estate planning, probate, and trust matters while also handling commercial contract work for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on wills, succession planning, trusts, and estate administration under Australian law.
• Draft, review and amend wills, powers of attorney, trust deeds and related documents.
• Manage probate and estate administration from initiation to finalisation.
• Provide commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation services.
• Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with Australian regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, financial advisors, accountants and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission as an Australian Legal Practitioner (or eligibility to work on Australian matters).
• 3–5 years practising Australian Wills & Estates law.
• Proven experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and probate applications.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters remotely.
