Remote Telemarketer – South Africa

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is looking for a Remote Telemarketer based in South Africa to drive the top‑of‑funnel for its sales team. You will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision‑makers, creating the first impression of the agency for potential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research ideal accounts based on the company’s Ideal Customer Profile.
• Build accurate contact lists and locate decision‑makers using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and Apollo.
• Design and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean and up‑to‑date records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimise targeting and provide feedback to the sales team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative or Business Development Representative role, preferably in an agency or SaaS environment.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalise outreach.
• Gritty, curious, coachable and comfortable managing your own pipeline.
