Remote Rust Engineer – AI Data Training Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a remote Rust Engineer to work on AI data training projects. You will review, generate, and evaluate AI‑generated Rust code, ensuring correctness, safety, and clear explanations that help improve large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Rust code and explanations, identifying errors in ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and algorithmic reasoning.
• Write high‑quality, idiomatic Rust solutions and pedagogical explanations.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Create detailed prompts and responses to guide AI learning across diverse topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to enhance model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and validate their reliability.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of professional Rust development experience in backend, CLI, or systems‑focused projects.
• Strong grasp of Rust’s ownership, borrowing, and lifetime model.
• Experience with safe, idiomatic Rust patterns such as traits, generics, pattern matching, and error handling.
• Proficiency in English writing with the ability to produce precise technical explanations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Detail‑oriented work style and C1‑level English proficiency.
