Remote Paralegal

About the role

This is a fully remote paralegal position supporting a Phoenix‑based commercial litigation and collections firm. You will work as the offshore half of an on‑shore paralegal team, drafting pleadings, managing deadlines, and handling workflow so attorneys can focus on substantive matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and collections documents from scratch.
• Track and flag court deadlines, statute of limitations dates, and filing requirements using the firm’s docketing system.
• Prepare and organize exhibits, binders, and supporting documentation for hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Maintain accurate digital case files and provide proactive status updates to the on‑shore team.
• Assist with discovery preparation, privilege log creation, and coordination with e‑discovery vendors.
• Process correspondence to debtors, opposing parties, and courts as directed.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. civil litigation procedure.
• Excellent written English with a focus on document precision.
• Ability to manage a high volume of matters without missed deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable receiving frequent feedback during the onboarding period.
