Remote Paralegal

About the role

Our client, a leading litigation firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Remote Paralegal to support its commercial litigation and collections teams. The position provides direct assistance to on‑shore paralegals and supervising attorneys, handling a high volume of matters across the firm’s core practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of commercial litigation, from pre‑suit through trial and appeal, including drafting and finalizing complaints, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas and stipulations.
• Prepare and organize exhibits, binders and supporting documentation for hearings, depositions and trials.
• Monitor case deadlines, docketing and filing dates to ensure timely responses.
• Support commercial collections by drafting pleadings, tracking case status, preparing correspondence and coordinating post‑judgment enforcement.
• Maintain accurate digital case files, track statutory deadlines and flag upcoming dates for attorneys.
• Provide discovery support as needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and commercial collections processes.
• Excellent written communication and organizational abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
