Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support a global leader in the energy and commercial real‑estate sectors. The contractor will assist legal teams with drafting, reviewing and managing transactional documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and prepare commercial real‑estate and energy contracts, lease agreements and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real‑estate and energy law, including regulatory compliance and due‑diligence.
• Manage and organise transactional documentation, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for current and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant or similar role, preferably in commercial real‑estate or energy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and lease agreements.
• Experience using legal research databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
