Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal team members. You will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain systems, and ensure smooth operation of hardware and software across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone, and remote desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of company systems.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in a ticketing system.
• Support software deployments, updates, and compatibility checks.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience working remotely and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.
• Proven customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Remote desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
