Remote German-Speaking Customer Service Representative

About the role

This remote position supports a prestigious airport by handling passenger queries and social media interactions in German and English. You will work with airline reservation systems and provide assistance to international travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage social media work streams for the airport.
• Assist passengers with travel‑related queries in German and English.
• Operate airline reservation systems and handle written correspondence on multiple platforms daily.
• Interact with international passengers, addressing queries, compliments and issues.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in German (verbal and written) and strong English skills.
• Permanent residence permit or South African ID holder.
• Flexibility to work 10‑hour shifts, including weekends.
• Excellent customer service abilities; call‑center or travel/tourism experience preferred.
• No criminal record and ability to complete biometrics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using Windows‑based operating systems.

• Permanent contract (40 hours/week) with a salary of R16 666.67 per month (≈R200 000 per year) plus an internet allowance.
