Remote Content Editor & Producer (Australian Business Hours)

About the role

Our client, an Australian business, is seeking a talented Content Editor & Producer to work remotely from South Africa during Australian business hours. The role involves turning raw footage from events, founder recordings and podcasts into polished, platform‑ready content that drives engagement across social channels and paid campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end video editing workflow, converting long‑form footage (iPhone, Osmo, walk‑and‑talk) into short‑form reels, clips and ads.
• Repurpose content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and paid advertising, including captions, graphics, thumbnails and carousels.
• Produce and publish full podcast episodes, create episode‑specific titles, descriptions and short social clips.
• Manage YouTube channel, upload long‑form videos and Shorts, write engaging metadata and organise playlists.
• Upload and catalogue training, event and membership recordings for easy member access.
• Edit testimonial footage into video clips and graphics for multi‑channel use.
• Maintain an organised library of raw footage, B‑roll and evergreen assets.
• Collaborate with external video production partners and the internal marketing strategist to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Strong video editing and graphic design abilities with a keen eye for storytelling and hook creation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content requests in a rolling list.
• Proactive in spotting new content opportunities within existing footage.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a fully remote environment while following performance‑based direction.
