Remote Call Centre Agent – Sales Development

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is looking for motivated Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to own the top of the sales funnel. As a Remote Call Centre Agent you will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision‑makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on the company’s Ideal Customer Profile.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimise targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.

Required profile

• At least 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.
