About the role
We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist to lead compliance initiatives within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and vaccine production organisation in South Africa. You will ensure that all products meet national and international regulatory standards while supporting the company’s mission to deliver safe, effective healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead regulatory compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
- Manage product registration processes and submit timely dossiers to authorities.
- Oversee pharmaceutical governance practices across the organisation.
- Maintain and interpret regulations, guidelines, and standards relevant to production.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to sustain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs or a related field.
- Pharmacist qualification with registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven experience with GMP and product registrations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
