About the role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (Scrub) to join the Medicross Monte Vista Clinic at Netcare N1City Hospital. The role involves delivering comprehensive, person‑centred nursing care in the operating theatre and supporting patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan and implement individualized, holistic nursing care for surgical patients.
- Coordinate patient care within a multi‑disciplinary health team.
- Apply scientifically based nursing theories and processes throughout the care pathway.
- Address patients’ physical, social and spiritual needs using educational and technical nursing methods.
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist the surgical team as a scrub nurse.
Required profile
- Qualified Professional Nurse/Clinical Nurse registered with the relevant South African nursing authority.
- Experience in peri‑operative or scrub nursing preferred.
- Commitment to delivering person‑centred, holistic care.
