Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Shifts in Free State

About the role

MHR is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to fill part‑time, temporary shifts in private facilities across Bloemfontein, Bethlehem and Welkom in the Free State. The positions involve working on general wards and/or intensive care units, providing high‑quality patient care in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) scope of practice.
• Manage patient care on general wards and/or ICU, including monitoring, medication administration, and documentation.
• Assess and perform relevant clinical procedures while ensuring patient safety.
• Identify and mitigate clinical risks as part of the unit’s quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Valid SANC licence and immediate availability.
• Proven experience in a general ward and/or ICU setting.
• Strong understanding of nursing scope of practice and patient‑centred care.
• Ability to demonstrate and assess clinical procedures and manage associated risks.
