Registered Nurse (RN) – Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise daily nursing activities in a long‑term care facility. The RN will ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and maintain the highest quality of resident care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities in accordance with current standards and directives from the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services with administrative functions, including policy development, procedure manual updates, and coordination with other resident services.
• Ensure reference materials, such as PDRs and regulations, are current and accessible at nursing stations.
• Monitor compliance of nursing staff with job descriptions and the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs, facility surveys, and the review and updating of resident discharge plans.
• Prepare written and oral reports/recommendations for the Director regarding nursing operations.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience supervising nursing staff within a long‑term care or similar healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local nursing regulations and professional standards of practice.
• Ability to develop, maintain and revise nursing policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to nursing leadership and participating in surveys.
