Registered Nurse – Overnight Patient Care Unit (Full‑Time)

About the role

This full‑time overnight position in a patient care unit provides comprehensive nursing care under the direction of the department manager or supervisor. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate patient care throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality patient care, including admission, transfer, discharge, and ongoing assessment.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with goals, interventions, and evaluations.
• Report significant changes in patient condition promptly to the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Apply age‑specific standards for child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Participate in teaching patients and families about disease processes and wellness promotion.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license.
• Current CPR certification and ACLS, PALS or TNCC certifications as required.
• Previous RN experience in a related care area preferred.
