Registered Nurse – Maternity/Obstetrics (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in maternity and obstetrics to provide part‑time care at a private facility in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role is temporary and offers flexible scheduling through a reputable healthcare agency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, high‑quality patient care in accordance with the nursing scope of practice.
• Maintain patient rights and ensure safe, ethical treatment at all times.
• Identify, report, and manage medico‑legal risks.
• Conduct patient‑care audits and ensure accurate record‑keeping that meets company and legal standards.
• Manage stock and equipment following the client’s policies.

Required profile

• Immediate availability.
• Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
• Post‑qualification experience working on maternity or obstetrics wards.
• Competence in demonstrating and assessing relevant clinical procedures.
• Strong understanding of the nursing scope of practice and patient‑care principles.
