Registered Nurse – General Units

About the role

Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses for its General Units. The successful candidates will deliver holistic, high‑quality nursing care to patients, ensuring optimal outcomes in line with the hospital’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality basic and specialised nursing care to patients in the General Units.
• Maintain continual communication with patients and families regarding condition and care plans.
• Administer medication in accordance with ethical and legal frameworks.
• Review and comply with internal policies, protocols and quality management systems.
• Advocate for patients, coordinate with case management and notify doctors of any concerns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support staff training and development.
• Manage unit‑specific stock, staff hours and leave in line with company policies.
• Ensure infection control and SHEQ compliance, reporting incidents as required.
• Conduct in‑service orientation on doctor preferences and execute doctors’ requests.
• Check equipment daily, report faults and educate staff on proper utilisation.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Prior nursing experience in the appropriate specialization.
• Strong customer orientation, team‑player attitude, energetic and well‑organised.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
