Registered Nurse – D Ward

About the role

The Life The Crompton Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its D Ward. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the nurse will deliver holistic patient care while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the hospital’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff and stock costs by evaluating labour hours and controlling debit/credit hours.
• Minimise waste and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Provide high‑quality patient care, conduct daily care rounds and address complaints.
• Deliver accurate information to patients and families throughout hospitalization.
• Implement risk‑management measures, including SHEQ and infection‑control protocols.
• Comply with ISO standards to support infection‑control initiatives.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, recognising doctors’ preferences and stakeholder needs.

Required profile

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current registration with the appropriate professional or regulatory body.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry (advantage).
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency.
