Regional Sales Representative - KZN

About the role

Drive business growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand market share in the renewable energy and battery storage sector across KwaZulu‑Natal.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities with solar installers, distributors and commercial enterprise clients in KZN.
• Nurture existing key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct site assessments and technical consultations to recommend appropriate battery storage solutions.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM database, tracking leads, follow‑ups and sales forecasts to meet revenue targets.
• Facilitate product demonstrations and basic technical training for installer networks and distribution partners.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor positioning and regulatory changes and feed insights to national sales and marketing teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years proven B2B technical sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, solar PV or battery storage.
• Strong understanding of technical product specifications, inverter compatibility and basic electrical concepts.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
