Regional Sales Manager – SADC (South Africa)

About the role

Ishida Europe is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the SADC region, based in South Africa, to drive sales of its weighing and packing line solutions. The role focuses on generating revenue, building trusted customer relationships, and achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute visits to existing and potential customers in the food and non‑food sectors across the assigned territory.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer and activity records in the CRM system.
• Prepare accurate quotes and orders using the CPQ system.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers and office staff to ensure end‑to‑end service delivery.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings and client needs.
• Participate actively in performance management, training, and reporting to the General Manager.
• Achieve defined sales and call targets while delivering Ishida‑standard customer service.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technical or engineering products in a B2B environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships that lead to repeat sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for conveying complex information.
• Capability to understand and work with sales processes and related system tools.

Required skills

• Experience with a CPQ (Configure‑Price‑Quote) system.
• Proficiency in using a CRM platform for customer and activity management.
