Regional Sales Manager - Medical Devices

About the role

Our client, a leading player in the Medical Devices industry, is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales performance across Pretoria, North West and Limpopo. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership and hands‑on market development to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Achieve revenue targets and monitor performance, taking corrective action when needed.
• Lead, mentor and coach a team of Medical Device Sales Representatives.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, surgeons, hospital groups and procurement teams.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets and regular management reports.
• Support product launches and regional marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions and customer events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a medical or business discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Regional Sales Manager in the Medical Devices sector.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing sales teams and meeting regional targets.
• Strong business development, strategic planning and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively.
