Regional Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven professional to lead a regional sales operation in Johannesburg. The role is pivotal for driving growth, building a high‑performance culture and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and motivation to the Sales Agent team, including regular performance reviews and field visits.
• Deliver principal volume and value targets through effective management of the Sales Agent network.
• Conduct trade audits, monitor competitor activity and report pricing insights.
• Execute brand plans on‑shelf, roll out promotional campaigns and new product launches.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, distributors and channel partners, resolving escalated issues promptly.
• Develop regional sales forecasts, budgets and strategic plans; analyse market trends and competitor activity.
• Submit accurate sales reports and ensure compliance with company policies and pricing structures.

Required profile

• A completed Sales or Marketing degree (essential) and honours in Sales or Marketing (advantageous).
• Mathematics mark of 60%+ in HG or Core Mathematics.
• Valid RSA driver’s licence.
• 5‑8 years’ experience in a sales environment with a proven track record of achieving regional targets.
• Experience managing dispersed teams across multiple locations.
• Computer literate with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
