Regional Sales Manager – Inland Bakeries

About the role

Premier FMCG is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for its Inland Bakeries division. The role will drive growth in a competitive FMCG market, leading a sales and merchandising team to increase market share and strengthen customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a high‑performing sales and merchandising team to exceed targets.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis and adjust tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors and retail partners.
• Manage expenses, identify cost‑saving opportunities and provide transparent financial reporting.
• Implement and track sales performance metrics, reporting results and driving data‑based improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics and other functions to ensure seamless product launches and operations.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (or relevant professional certification).
• 5–10 years progressive management experience in FMCG sales, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing sales teams.
