Regional Operations Lead

About the role

The Regional Operations Lead supports the day‑to‑day performance of Workshop17’s network of locations. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the role works closely with Location Managers to ensure operational standards, processes and policies are consistently applied across all sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Location Managers with daily site management, stepping in during high demand, staff absence or escalations.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operational health, service standards and team performance, providing feedback and action plans.
• Roll out new operational procedures, tools and initiatives, and keep standard operating procedures (SOPs) up to date.
• Identify operational gaps, propose solutions and escalate major issues to the National Operations Manager.
• Support new location openings, refurbishments or transitions by coordinating cross‑functional tasks.
• Provide operational guidance to café operators, ensuring service level agreements and quality standards are met.
• Champion member experience standards, help resolve escalated member queries and support onboarding/off‑boarding processes.
• Contribute ideas to improve community management and assist with planning member events.

Required profile

• Highly organised, proactive and adaptable.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to support multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with frequent site visits.
• Experience in facilities management, financial administration, reporting or similar operational functions.
