Regional Financial Controller

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will ensure that all branches within the assigned region adhere to financial and stock control procedures. You will act as the key liaison between finance, operations, and branch managers, supporting 12‑15 locations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce financial policies and controls across all branches.
• Manage petty cash, goods receipt vouchers (GRVs), purchase orders, CAPEX and related documentation.
• Lead regional stocktakes, investigate variances and monitor inventory accuracy, including Goods in Transit.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and support insurance claims and fleet card administration.
• Prepare reconciliations, financial reports and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Branch Managers to resolve financial issues.

Required profile

• Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial control, audit or compliance within retail, wholesale or multi‑branch environments.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Ability to travel to regional branches as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
