Regional Channel Sales Manager: Eastern & Southern Africa

About the role

A global industrial engineering business is looking for a Regional Channel Sales Manager based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Reporting at senior level, the role leads channel growth across Eastern and Southern Africa, developing a multi-country, multi-partner distribution network and growing market share in food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical processing.

Key responsibilities

• Own channel strategy, partner agreements and regional business plans
• Drive partner performance, engagement and market coverage
• Develop new business with partners serving multinational FMCG brands
• Resolve commercial conflicts between partners and internal teams

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 12+ years in processing, including hygienic applications
• Experience managing distributors across multiple countries; Africa exposure is a strong plus
• A background as a Technical Sales Engineer is preferred

Required skills

• Knowledge of process equipment and integrated solutions for hygienic manufacturing industries
• Technical quoting and partner performance measurement
• CRM-led pipeline and channel reporting
