Radiotherapist – Fixed Term Contract

About the role

The Life Hilton Oncology unit is seeking a qualified Radiotherapist on a fixed‑term basis. Reporting to the Radiotherapy Unit Manager, you will deliver safe and effective radiotherapy treatments while upholding the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality radiotherapy services that meet all quality‑assurance requirements.
• Establish and maintain a quality‑assurance programme to ensure continuous compliance.
• Maintain radiotherapy equipment and machines according to prescribed standards.
• Participate in audits, client programmes and legal‑compliance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance patient and client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and internal/external audits.
• Treat patients and staff with empathy, delivering efficient and effective care based on sound planning principles.

Required profile

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in radiotherapy.
• Minimum three‑year National Diploma in Radiation Therapy.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Team‑player with results‑orientation, good communication and customer focus.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, resilience, ethical behaviour and ability to build relationships.
